Cheryl Gables, a long-time resident of Harford County, recently retired after 19.5 years of dedicated service in Housing and Community Services for the Harford County Government. Cheryl’s career began as a Mobility Trainer and Coordinator for Harford County Transit, where she made a significant impact by teaching over 100 individuals with disabilities to navigate the county’s bus system successfully. Her commitment to helping Harford County residents is a family tradition—her mother was the first bus driver in Harford County, and Cheryl proudly followed as the third.
Cheryl also has 4 years of experience as a Medical Office Assistant and spent the next 13 years providing compassionate hospice and in-home health care for senior citizens. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and cherishing moments with her family. We’re thrilled to have Cheryl join HarGo Rides, where her lifelong dedication to her community and passion for helping others will continue to inspire and benefit our team and riders.
